The LMF attic ladder is fire-rated at 60-minutes in accordance with ASTM E119 Standard Test Methods for Fire Tests of Building Construction Materials. It also functions as a blaze block in case of fire. The hatch is manufactured with fireproof materials and equipped with a gasket that expands under extreme heat.
