This DIG conversion elbow is used to convert any 1/2 in. male thread (NPT) sprinkler riser into a ¾ in. hose thread outlet. This allows connection of a ¾ in. swivel adapter with a ¾ in. female hose thread (FHT) to drip irrigation tubing or to a garden hose with a ¾ in. female thread (FHT). Installation suggestions: 1. Remove the sprinkler from the ½ in. riser. 2. Wrap two to three rounds of TEFLON tape on the ½ in. riser. 3. Thread the ½ in. FPT x ¾ in. MHT elbow into the riser (no tool is needed). Do not over tighten. 4. Attach to the ¾ in. male hose thread any fitting， ¾ in. swivel adapter or garden hose with female hose thread only. (Make sure that the female thread used has a washer.).
